Can someone point to where it says giving out FREE samples,is Illegal on the RULE book?Theres nothing dodgy about giving away free samples..I'm from California,I am a prop 215 patient,giving away free samples...

I think it is just down to not having a vendors account and having people send you their personal information that is getting to me, not that you are sending out free samples. I mean, I have sent out free samples. That is not illegal or breaking any rules here, but i sent out free samples for the purpose of getting feedback onto my vendors account so people knew I was legit.

as someone who has known many prop 215ers to give away their stuff, i'd take the risk on the free sample.
but, SR forum rules should be followed. (And I am no expert on them, so I leave that debate to the rest of the community)

Yeah, cause buying and selling drugs wont get any of us in serious trouble. Nope... we are all very much paranoid meth heads with no real justification for concern. LE would never think of being on here, maybe try and gather as much info as they could... There is never a bad person on the internet.

Come, come now. Even receiving drugs in your post will get you in trouble. Again. I have sent out free samples too. There is nothing wrong with altruism. Its nice. We should have more of it, but we are dealing with stuff that can put people in a good deal of trouble.

This just isn't the manner in which to do things. If you really are a legit source, you will understand and possess the time in which to go through the proper channels. Since this hasn't happened I feel like this is either a fly-by-night op designed to break the SR chain of self enclosed anonymity, or a way of procuring address' which drug users may reside. Who knows why?

I agree with ppass, you should try being less aggressive in your sampling trials, assuming you are in fact legit. Do it this way, people trust you less. In any case, good luck.

People are angry / edgy because, although you sound alright, and may very well be sending out free weed to those who ask, any LEO could have created your account and posts - this is what they're reacting to. A seller account begins to mitigate the this risk, and confirmed free samples ARE the next step. Trying to skip the seller account will only get you a lot of mistrust even if you are legitimate.
If the above scenario is correct, and you are LEO, well, you can see why its going to be harder than just saying "Free samples!" on a drug forum to try to catch people...
Also, go do your serve/protect thing somewhere its needed. Stop a rape or something, that shit's fucked up.

Do you have any intention of becoming a seller in the future? If so then you should register as a vendor before giving samples away, that way you build up a reputation.
If you don't intend to sell on SR in the future then you should give it away by other means, put it in books at your local library, mail it to random people, leave bags at a skate park or whatever, you shouldn't offer here if your intention is just to do the altruistic thing because most people will assume you are an agent of the oppressive state, which you most likely are.
